About Śubhakāla
Śubhakāla — auspicious time — is a Vedic reference platform for those who want to stay connected to the traditional Indian almanac without compromising on accuracy or depth.
The site grew from a simple frustration: most Pañcāṅga resources online are either cluttered with advertisements or present information without context. Sanskrit without explanation is decoration. We wanted something different — clean, accurate, and genuinely useful for daily practice. Śubhakāla is free to start, with deeper tools available to subscribers.
Every stotram on Śubhakāla is presented in layers: Devanāgarī with prose commentary, IAST transliteration with English commentary, all reviewed against source texts. The Pañcāṅga is calculated using sidereal (Lāhirī) positions, the same standard followed by traditional Vedic almanacs across South Asia.
We are based in Bengaluru, India. The platform is independently run, with no institutional backing and no editorial agenda beyond accuracy and accessibility.
